The “Taijiang Coast View” art exhibition will open on April 20

The Taijiang National Park Headquarters invited the Taiwan Marine Art Association to Taijiang for a profound three-day painting tour. During this tour, artists can learn deeply about the coast habitat in southern Taiwan and the homeland of fishermen. They explore abundant habitat and view of Taijiang from the broad perspective of the ocean. Their artworks can help people learn about the valuable resources of the Taijiang National Park through the arts. The “Taijiang Coast View” art exhibition will open on April 20, 2019. Lo Fang, the founder of the Taiwan Marine Art Association, Cheng Tai Le, the Chairman of the Taiwan Marine Art Association, Shih Pen Yuan, the Deputy Captain of the Seventh Division and Yang Chin Chen, the Deputy Director of the Taijiang National Park Headquarters, opened the exhibition together. Chang Wen Hsiung, the Director of the Local Service Office of Chen Ting Fei, the Member of the Legislative Yuan, Li Tung Shen, the Director of the Speaker’s Office of Kuo Hsin Liang, the Speaker of Tainan City Council, and the guests of the Headquarters, attended the opening ceremony.
The “Taijiang Coast View” of the oil painting exhibition was held from April 21, 2019 (Sun.) to June 9, 2019 (Sun.) at the Special Exhibition Room on the second floor of the Visitor Center in the Taijiang National Park Headquarters. A total of 51 artworks will be displayed and were drawn at the Taijiang National Park. They can be divided into numerous types of art styles, including ink painting, oil painting, mixed media and photography. By integrating the arts with the habitat, we hope that these artwork can touch people's hearts and raise people’s awareness of conservation and ecological maintenance.
